The Name Game: 10 minutes
Instructions:
• Ask everyone to stand in a circle.
• Start by going around and have each child say his/her name. As it's said, the
child makes a physical gesture or movement.
• For example, "Anna" might say her name and at the same time raise both of
her hands in the air. The whole group then repeats that name and gesture.
• After the second participant goes, the whole group says the two names and
gestures and so on until everyone has a turn.
• By the end, the whole group is repeating everyone's name and gesture.
• Repeat as often as two or three times. This energizer gets everyone moving.
