Stretching and Jumping: 10 minutes
Instructions:
• Ask the children to stand in a circle. They need to be shoulder to shoulder
with their neighbors. Instruct them to stay arm in arm in the circle.
• The facilitator will lead the following moves:
• Move the head from the neck to the right and then to the left.
• Bend the body to touch the toes.
• Bend at the waist to the left and to the right.
• Raise the left foot and then the right foot toward the front.
• Raise the left foot and then the right
foot toward the back.
• Bend the knees, stay down for a few seconds, and then
bend the chin down to the chest.
• Repeat each move at least 5 times.
• After these stretching exercises, ask the group to do a series of jumping jacks.

stretching activities and jumping jacks.
