Stretching and Jumping: 10 minutes

Instructions:
 Ask the children to stand in a circle. They need to be shoulder to shoulder with their neighbors. Instruct them to stay arm in arm in the circle.
 The facilitator will lead the following moves:
 Move the head from the neck to the right and then to the left.
 Bend the body to touch the toes.
 Bend at the waist to the left and to the right.
 Raise the left foot and then the right foot toward the front.
 Raise the left foot and then the right foot toward the back.
 Bend the knees, stay down for a few seconds, and then bend the chin down to the chest.
 Repeat each move at least 5 times.
 After these stretching exercises, ask the group to do a series of jumping jacks.

Active Energizer Purpose:
To energize the group through a series of stretching activities and jumping jacks.

Tasks for Facilitator: Familiarize yourself with the movements.
