In addition to The 8 Habits of Healthy Kids™ statements, a 5-page description of each habit found in the Kid Packet explains key information that children need to know about each habit.

In the Healthy Children Healthy Futures Program everything starts with The 8 Habits of Healthy Kids™. These eight habits are recommended behaviors for a healthy mind, body and lifestyle. They are based on expert research and are expressed in a way that is simple and straightforward.

The 8 Habits of Healthy KidsTM is the data, the raw information and principles that you and your group will use to create exciting, creative healthy eating and physical activity media messages.

Above are some activities to introduce The 8 Habits of Healthy Kids™ to your group.
