Healthy Kid Packet
The packet is specifically designed for children and
focuses on each of the 8 Habits of Healthy KidsTM.
Comprised of a two-page Fact Sheet and three “Did
You Know?” Sheets, the packet provides the
information necessary for the children to design
their media messages.

“Quickmercials”: · 25 minutes

Purpose:
For participants to learn about their own team’s topic as well as other teams’ topics and to begin to understand the
information/skills needed to develop advertisements of their own.

Tasks for Facilitator:
• Prepare a chart of guideline questions for Attention, Interest, Desire and Action.

Materials Needed:
• Healthy Kid Packets
• Pens and paper
• Chart paper
